Grow and thrive at our senior living community.

A dedicate to wellbeing through Masterpiece Living®.

A landmark 10-year study by the MacArthur Foundation in conjunction with the Mayo Clinic revealed that 70% of physical aging and approximately 50% of mental aging is determined by the lifestyle choices we make every day, proving that growing older doesn’t have to be a slow, steady decline. We can instead choose to live our senior years actively and full of purpose and happiness. Every day brings an opportunity to decide whether to grow or grow older.

Growing is about learning, improving, trying new things, adopting healthier habits – embracing certain attitudes and emotions toward life. Regardless of age, people who choose to grow are experiencing a life that is meaningful, enjoyable and exciting. When given the resources and opportunities to grow, we can re-write the process of aging in astonishing ways. Instead we can incorporate attributes of successful aging, making it a time of continued growth throughout all aspects of life – social, intellectual, physical and spiritual.

That’s where Masterpiece Living® at First & Main of Commerce Township comes in with our meaningful, person-centered commitment to wellness. As they grow older, seniors may decide to move into a retirement community to help alleviate the stress, work and maintenance of living at home. If their goal is to live healthier and happier, they must choose a senior living community truly with a specific plan, overarching culture and proven system for measuring success when it comes to person-centered wellness.

First & Main of Commerce Township integrates all of the physical, mental, social and spiritual components proven to promote overall health and wellbeing, offering a multitude of resources and opportunities for residents to thrive while aging successfully – which ultimately helps them to grow as individuals and lead more fulfilled lives. Using the Masterpiece Living program as the true center of what we are, we stand out among senior living communities as a place to live life to the fullest.
